Heavy snow at Maranello, Ferrari may cancel promo run
« on: February 01, 2012, 09:42:55 PM »

You'd think they know how to handle snow after ‘Wrooom’ event.  ;)

Ferrari may be forced to cancel its planned promotional run of its new car, set to take place on Friday following its unveiling in Maranello.

The Fiorano track and surrounding roads have been covered with a thick blanket of snow, as temperatures drop to -10ºC, and things aren't expected to improve soon.

The launch is still to go ahead as planned, confirmed the outfit.

"Work to set up the structure that will host the launch ceremony is still going ahead, even if it is not proving straightforward.

"It now looks as though there is little chance of carrying out the planned promotional filming featuring action shots of the car at the Fiorano track."

Easy peasy - just set that front wing down to pavement level for the first few laps.   ;) ;)
