I've driven a 240Z, but the chances of driving most of the rest of these are somewhere between slim and none.

Cripes if that's a to do list before you die I'd better get cracking, I've only driven 3 of the Big 15 (Mini, Sprite & 911) and 2 of the other 10 (Beetle & Honda S800).  :swoon:

I think I may have to commit a bit of larceny to finish the list before they take my licence away in about the next 15 to 20 years. :D

I was having coffee at this nice country restaurant near my house a couple of weeks back.

A few really nice classic cars started pulling into the carpark for their monthly lunch meet.

Suddenly this bloke pulls in, driving a Model T, absolutely mint, it was actually a huge moment just to be there and watch it actually be used.

The best bit is him and his wife were really dressed up, you know, she had a big flowing summer dress and he had a stripey suit, summer hat and scarf flowing in the wind.

The bloke proceeded to make his wife get out on to the gravel car park and actually push the car into its parking space whicst he sat there holding the wheel, priceless moment, you could see him pointing at her to get out, and the look on her face was hilarious. She was sooo dressed up, and she really struggled pusing it and wrecked her shoes in the process.

I'd have helped her if she didnt obviously really love herself!!

Full props to the bloke for keeping such a classic piece of machinery and actually using it, and for having his wife lower down his list of priorities than his Ford  :D

I drove a Spitfire once, rats it's not on the list.

My next best one was I owned a VW Beatle and
it was a semi automatic :DntKnw:

I've driven a few:

Model T
VW Beetle
Sprite
Mini
911
Corvair
Meyers Manx
Miata

I've driven 2 Edsels, a 58 Corsair and a 60 Ranger, but no Villagers.

I have a friend who recently finished restoring an MG TC, so I'm hope to add another one soon!  :good:

I've driven two of the top 15, the Mini and a 911. If I had the chance to drive one car it would be a Ferrari F40.

I've driven the Sprite; the original Mini in various iterations like the 850, the 1,000 and the 1250 GT; the Datsun 240Z; VW bug and the Miata, which is known as the MX-5 down under.

......and I would give my eye-teeth to drive ANY Ferrari!

I drove the Mini, 911, 240Z, Beetle, Miata and the Jag XKE (to be fair, the last one was while I was working Valet Parking at a snazzy hotel.  But the best part was our parking garage was 2 blocks away, so I managed to do a fairly long detour).

Jag was best sound, 911 was best performance (turbo).  The 240Z had lousy (or worn) shocks, so it was the scariest drive.

Haha yeah, 2 years on. I own the same 1983 mini and a 1974 Land Rover Series 3 and I drive my dad's pug 106 occasionally! Starting to grow up a bit now, it isn't good! Fancy changing the landy for a more modern one then you look at it and you feel bad that you even thought about it!!
