Piquet Jr. Gets NASCAR Win

Nelson Piquet Jr. has finally gotten his first NASCAR win. The former F1 driver took both the pole and win in the regional K&N East Pro Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. The series runs cars that are basically the previous generation of Nationwide Cup cars.

I was reading http://thestar.blogs.com/autoracing/2012/03/roundup-button-keselowski-audi-piquet-jr-all-win.html, and he commends Piquet for rebuilding his career the right way.  Piquet Sr. could easily pay for a ride in Sprint Cup, but Jr.'s racing in the ladder series to earn his way to the top.  Considering how much pressure he must be under, I'd rather like to see Piquet Jr fully redeem himself over time.

If nothing else, to put himself in a position to spit in Flavio's face  :good:
