Congrats to Max Chilton for qualifying 3rd in the opener at Sepang (1m 45.558s). Only 6 hundredths off pole. The Marussia / Carlin partnership seems to be working well, so much so that he's less than 3 seconds off Charles Pic's P2 time in the F1 Marussia. Go on Max!

Sounds like it's HRT that need a GP2 tie up, then they could use the car in the senior race - they might even beat the 107% rule then.  :DD :DD :DD

Good work by Max and Carlin though. Oh and a shout for James Calado 6th and Jolyon Palmer 7th on the grid,  :good: both with less experience in the series than Max.  Go boys go.
