Rare (odd?) cars
« on: April 08, 2012, 02:48:37 AM »
Today I saw a nicely restored.....Morris Minor!! I was shocked that someone would go to the trouble for such an ordinary little sedan. Gotta admit it looked kinda cool though, and it has become rare because not many were loved and cared for. What oddities has anyone else seen recently?

I spotted a late-forties/early fifties Crosley sedan sitting in a driveway here in town the other day. It needed a friend badly.

There are several restored Minors around here. I'll be going to the annual All British Car Show up in Columbus in about a month. There will be plenty of them there.

Today going for a Sunday drive I saw a Maserati and a Hudson Hornet at the same intersection.

I know of a fully restored Rover SD1 V8. Awful car!
