It's a bit hard to listen to these two waxing nostalgic about the car for so long, but wow - I'd be happy to have that in my garage.

Not a big fan of the "Rat Rod" craze. It always looks to me as if they couldn't wait to drive it until they finished it. Or they just got the hulk in the yard running again.

Sort of Rug Rat if you ask me. But I won't denying it has got a very brutish appeal, have a beauty of raw and sort of barbaric elegance. Would I like to have one, well I wouldn't mind driving this when I have bust up with wife or boss, and want some time alone, seems like perfect getaway car for these sort of situations.

Don't drive over any speed bumps!...or any bumps at all by the look of it!

How does this thing get to be street legal. No front or rear bumpers or any other obvious safety gear.
No way you would get plates issued to drive this in Canada.

Even if you registered it as a 48 (or so) Ford F series?

I'm a big fan of Rat Rods. I've even thought of building one myself.

That was my thought - if enough of it stays original or original spec, then it would be an antique and jump over plenty of those silly laws.
