The 23rd James Bond film, Skyfall, will premier on 9 November this fall. I've just heard some shocking news that it will contain a Bond first.

007 has done just about everything over the past 42 years. He was married in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. He was killed (sort of) and married (also sort of) in You Only Live Twice. He's been "regenerated" almost as many times as The Doctor. He's been shot, stabbed, lasered, blown up and tortured. But there was one thing he never, ever did on film.

Until now.

In Skyfall, for the first time, James Bond will........drink a beer! 

It's part of a product placement deal with Heineken. So far, there is no word on whether the scene will involve beer pong, a 67 function Q-designed can coozie or Daniel Craig crushing the can on his forehead afterwards. I wonder if the Bond Girl in the film will offer him a bottle and ask, "Care for a little Heinie, James?"

That doesn't really prove much any more. The filtered out, chemically flavored & colored malt crap like Mike's Hard Lemonade is in with the beer, too.
