Tut tut, STILL no St Georges Day on the calendar, it's the 23rd April to remind people.

According to wikipedia our dear Saint George is a popular guy, many of our chums around the world may be able to celebrate with us Ian. ;)

Looks like anyone living in Preston or Tamworth gets double the excuse for a party on the 23rd.  :D

"Many Patronages of Saint George exist around the world, including: Georgia, England, Egypt, Bulgaria, Aragon, Catalonia, Romania, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Iraq, Lithuania, Palestine, Portugal, Serbia, Ukraine and Russia, as well as the cities of Genoa, Amersfoort, Beirut, Fakiha, Bteghrine, Cáceres, Ferrara, Freiburg, Kumanovo, Ljubljana, Pomorie, Preston, Qormi, Rio de Janeiro, Lod, Lviv, Barcelona, Moscow, Tamworth and the Maltese island of Gozo."
