Williams driver Pastor Maldonado has been given a 10 place grid penalty for the Grand Prix of Monaco. He was dinged for cutting in on Sergio Perez during Free Practice 3, resulting in a shunt. He was the winner of the previous race in Spain. The penalty was announced just before the start of quali.

There must be something special in Monaco, that makes Pastor go crazy. Hopefully he learns from his mistakes.. The history says he hasn't done any justice to that..

Looks like Williams decided that since he was already going to start 19th, that they'd change out his gearbox before the race, so he moves to the very back.
