Sauber Cutaway F1 Car
« on: May 31, 2012, 12:13:11 AM »
This is really outstanding!  :yahoo:

Sauber cut an F1 car in half to show what's where inside. Absolutely fascinating!

Thank you, Sauber!  :good:

Great stuff Cos, no wonder the car designers are on a fortune.  :good:  :good:

Wonderful job by Sauber, says a lot about this by Sauber team, a down to earth speed maniacs. How many teams PR have we seen in the past to bolster their commitments to F1, and this bit by Sauber makes them like loud shout and nothing else..

Sergio looked funny in that cockpit, yet it is clearly visible how low they have to sit, in order keep the g-point as low as possible..

Wonderful job cos.. :good: :good: :good: :good:

Superb.  All looks pretty straightforward actually, I guess keeping it simple is a hallmark of good design.

Highlights for me were details of the fuel cell and the use of the drivers backside as a ride height limit detector!

Would have liked to have a better look at the engine/transmission end.

That was very cool! Damn, that sitting position looks rather uncomfortable eh?
Kimi's back! Future double WDC.
