Corvette passing on autobahn at light speed
« on: June 08, 2012, 07:39:31 PM »
...or at least it seems like it.

I'm not sure who is the bigger idiot - the corvette driver passing at a stupid speed, or the guy holding his camera / phone while changing lanes doing 160...and I have no idea what happened when he made that noise at the end.  Was he scared or excited  :DntKnw: :DntKnw:

Judging by the white lines and what I know of physics there'sno
way that car was going 150,the Vette was

We're talking kilometres an hour right Scott, so 150 is about 90mph which is probably about right for the camera car. I reckon the Corvette was doing about 150 mph, or maybe more - we are talking autobahn though so I guess that's not unusual for vette drivers on a fairly clear road.
Have to admit the sound made by the guy at the end is mighty odd, he does seem a bit excited, perhaps he just can't believe he got it on his camera.

Sorry mate my post does look exceptionally patronising in the light of day.  :-[

My excuse is four fingers of Glen Grant single malt at the end of a long workday.  ;)

I know not to drink and drive, perhaps I'll have to consider a ban on drink and type.  :D

I was kidding John,it never occurred to me itwas in

Yeah, not many cars would be passed like that if they were doing 150mph, except maybe by a Veyron.  Still, doing 90mph while holding and aiming a camera/phone is almost as crazy as the guy in the 'vette.
