Observers hear 'Off trottle blowing' from Red Bull in Valencia.  :swoon:
In twitter exchanges on Friday, 22nd June, respected F1 photograher Darren Heath tweeted about RBR & Ferrari's apparent blown exhaust notes in Valencia.
Lot's of what sounds like 'Off throttle blowing' from #vettel #redbull @ #f1valencia today. #ferrari too.

This then brought a few replies, one from Steven Brown adding to the mystery by bringing the Montreal race in. @F1Photographer I could definitely hear it in Montreal on the red bull. Probably a loophole. I hope it's not making a comeback.

Anyone know if the engine boys managed to convince the FIA, like they did last year, that the power plant has to be fed when the drivers foot is off the pedal???

The FIA banned fuel flowing when the throttle is closed. That said, they won't do anything about it if RB and Ferrari are doing it unless some team files an official protest. Their policy is it's not illegal until you're caught.
