10 worst car mods and accessories?
« on: August 03, 2012, 09:06:49 AM »

Now own up if you've ever tried out any of these crazy things.

I'm guilty of the cup holder add on,  :-[  - no never again, the dirty stain on the seat and carpet were hell to work on.

Quite like the car eyelashes, not on my car obviously, but on ladies garishly coloured motors they seem OK.  ;)

I proudly have the fuzzy dice in every vehicle I own, and have had for decades.

I've never used the cheap plastic cup holders. I've put decent ones in my cars that didn't have them. The MG has a reproduction 60's vintage Amco console that has a built in cup holder.

The hearse had a custom made yellow diamond sign in the back window that said, "Body on Board."

I've seen about enough of the fake, stick on Buick portholes, too.

How about this all-time favorite? These have been around as long as I can remember.

He He!  :yahoo: I think that's pretty cool, and naff, at the same time CD, but 40 bucks?  :swoon:

I'd say that price is a sticking point, a lot of dad's would find one in their stocking from Santa if they get under the $15 mark.  :D

Next you guys will start complaining about ring tones...I'm still using Vintly's F1 car tone.  At least nobody rolls there eyes at mine when everyone else is still using the retro telephone ring (pu-leez people, it's so far from original now).

About the only car accessory mentioned that I ever used was like Dare, the stupid cupholder.  Stains never came out of the seat, but thankfully it was my Dad's car.  ;)

Poor old Dare gets all the blame on this site.  ;)   Scott it was me who soiled the car.  :-[

Dare is much too sophisticated to just spill drinks in his motors.  :D
