Based on a BMW M3, but tubular frame, and a tuned engine.  Really nice looking car.

Looks a bit clumsy in the front, would have looked a lot better if we had a bit less lights, but except that one hell of a car, beautiful design, and if its build with lightweight body material the tuned M3 should be giving it a loads of punch, stats shows 0-60 less than 4 sec, that is impressive...

And price tag I found is above $200k, that is the basic starting price :o

Great find scotty, just a little question who were with you in the HOTEL?? ;)

Scott owns the hotel, BD.  ;)

Good looking car. The front reminds me of a Jag C-Type.

The rest of it reminds me of an Austin Healey 3000.  ;)

Nice car.  :good:

GPW discount is a good one.  Free room for at least a few days (as long as we're not already full) and you don't pay for anything as long as I'm at the table eating or drinking with you.

See you in Switzerland, BD.  You're welcome anytime.

Exactly my thought. Always loved the "C" type.

For our younger friends, this is a C Type. The C stood for competition. It was the XK-120 with a lighter, more aerodynamic body. It was also known as the XK-120C. The car brought the Le Mans trophy home to Coventry.

The C Type was certainly a lovely looking car.  :good:

Surely C was great car, but always I have fancied the D type, for me that defined Jaguar at its best..

The D was the successor to the C. It really was a beautiful car even today. In the 50's, it looked like it came from a Buck Rogers movie.

Starting with the XK120 and continuing right through the XKE, Jaguar set a standard for design few car companies have ever approached. I have a slight preference for the C-type, but they are all beautiful, desirable cars.

Could not agreed more Lonny, everyone has their little preferences but all agree, all are simply gorgeous..

Before For took over, they were making great designs, but during that Ford ere, they were no-where, but I have a feeling TATA is enjoying the benefits of Ford's hardwork. Yesterday I have seen a XF and I was left drooling..  :swoon:
