2013 driver moves revealed

I can't wait for the first pass by Button and/or Perez on Hamilton next season.  Hopefully it even takes place in Oz.   

I wonder how much support Button will throw his way the rest of this season.

I would think that if it came down to the crunch, and JensOn could'nt take the WDC he would support Lewis, JensOn is after all a team player.

Might be rosy like that on the outside, but I suspect the team won't complain too much if Jens doesn't help Lewis to the title - after all that only makes him worth that much more to market Merc's.

Would be daft if McLaren don't try to win the title just to p off Merc

I'm sure Lewis will thrive in his new environment and hopefully will go back to how he was when he first arrived on the scene, when he enjoyed racing.

What does the team benefit from the WDC?  They won't have bragging rights next year, and all the money comes from the WCC which could be achieved with more points effort towards Button for the rest of the season.

They still have the win in their team historical stats and most remember which car carried the driver to the title, bragging rights for the next season rarely count for much as the game all begins again afresh each year. Pschologically however another WDC would add a lot of pressure to tantrum prone Lewis at Merc, especially if they remain in mid pack.  

There is also the grin on Ron's face when he hands Lewis his replica bling trophies for the year.
