New Jersey GP Contract Cancelled
« on: September 25, 2012, 01:38:28 PM »
Bernie Ecclestone says that the New Jersey F1 organizers "have not complied with the terms and conditions of the contract which is now gone anyway. They don't have a contract." Doubts about the race have spread since it was first announced. The race was a street circuit around a sewage treatment plant.

Hey, Bernie, I know of a great venue in Indiana.  :yahoo:

The contract is cancelled, not the race - yet.

I have a feeling Bernie is playing the hard-ball, to put pressure on the New Jersey GP, to come up with the money, the amount he wants, narrow the possibilities of negotiation. The amount of media coverage Red-Bull is doing for this race is match to none, I guess this team is desperate for the PR it can have with Formula One there, so don't start jumping now Cos, you still might have to listen to F1 cars in the sewer..
Keep running the fast cars, you will be never out of girls
