Cheers all. It was certainly enjoyable, quite a buzz. The line is all down to the instructor, I suspect without him I'd have been turning way to early into the tighter corners. A friend of mine is now talking about the single-seater days at Brands Hatch – he's been a couple of times and wants to go again. Might have to wait a while but I like the idea of being on track without an instructor.

Cripes what's happened to me? I'm an armchair fan!

:DD I watched this video on my PC in work with no sound without reading the story properly. I thought "Jez this guy I flat out", I could believe how hard you seemed to be going.

David that's hilarious!  :DD

Awesome drive vintly...

I just got another thing in my wishlist to do, as soon as possible

Is it necessary to have a license for this? I mean I have one, but it ain't British :-[

I was briefed to bring my license, which I did, but I don't remember it being asked for on the day. The website states you need to have held a full license for three years, I'd guess a foreign license would be ok.

On a business trip at the moment and I'm staying in the Whittlebury Hotel. Had a few jar in the Silverstone bar tonight and had a good look round at all the memorabilia in the cabinets and the amazing photos on the walls. Unfortunately I'm not going To a Ferrari driving day tomorrow just a boring power tool trade day.  :(

A day at the track bar, even without time on track, is a good day!  :good:

An hour at any bar is a good day! Ah well, nice to soak up the atmosphere of Silverstone even if only via the pictures in the bar.
