Chat room apps
« on: November 16, 2012, 02:32:40 PM »
Dear Sir Wiz, I notice there's a '123 Flash Chat' app that allows iPhones and iPads to access flash chat rooms. Is this possible with ye olde GP Wizard chat room? I'd love to be able to join the chat live from the Barcelona GP next year  :D

Hey Vintly,

I have investigated various systems to allow iPad/iPhone users to join in the chat room. They so far have either failed to live up to their claims or the cost has been too high to warrant changing over to them. The 123chat looks good but to put into perspective it would cost $1000 to emulate what we have now.

The chat system we use now works perfectly, just not on apple products. I will investigate again to see if any software houses have come up with an ideal solution as I would dearly love to crack this one.

Thanks for bringing this up vintly as I appreciate any feedback and suggestions.

Cheers

Wiz

Thanks Wiz, I suspected you'd either have done it already or it had a silly cost. Thanks for the reply.
