Yup, same here.  They'll give you the short news from the last few days, but anything more and they want $.  Too bad for them...plenty of other places on the net it's free.  I figured with all their ads they don't need another $ stream.

I know they have been restricting non subsription use to 50 pages a month for the last few months, I've become more careful about how I use their site now.

I've just checked and can still access their news pages as usual, but I'm not over the 50 page veiws for the month yet.

I'm sure you get free unlimited access to all the Autosport site including the Forix and other specialist pages if you take out a magazine subscrition. I'm thinking of doing that as I buy about 30 issues, one at a time, from the local newsagent anyway.

Yeah, that is right John, they limit the amount you can view a day unless you are subscribed (I think it is 10 a day or 50 a month like you say).  It is worth subscribing though, the magazine is decent and usually arrived on time (or on Friday if you're unlucky) and getting full access to the site, forix and all the pictures in all sizes is pretty good too.

I don't use Autosport.com enough to warrant getting a subscription. Ironically, I used it a lot more before the limit was put in place, despite the fact that I never used it enough to hit the limit now in place.

Aside for the page views per month, for anything in depth, or opinion, or any kind of special story, they give you a tease of the first few paragraphs and then remind you to buy a subscription for the rest.

The news they give out for free is only what is on the main F1 page.  If you want to go back a day beyond what they have room for on that first page, once again, you must be a subscriber.

I don't think it is worth the money they are asking.

Sorry, I meant more to the magazine than specifically just the online stuff.  Mag supscription gets the online stuff so in that sense it is worth it... At least to me since I always used to pick up Autosport in store.

I haven't visited Autosport's website in an age, and I'm even less inclined to do so now, so thanks for the tip off.

I used to buy the magazine, but in recent years, the poorly written race reports, and the lack of coverage for the team by team section meant that I decided it was no longer worth the money.

I have had the 10 page left notice but if I get blocked I'm not too bothered.
I did a subscription to F1 Magazine for Christmas though.
Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!
