Mika was never a favorite of mine, maybe the Mclaren factor, but after
watching this I have a new respect for the driver and especially the man

I've seen this several times on SKYf1 channel, good stuff.  :good:

Yeah he certainly comes accross as a real racer and all round good guy. He feels able to own up to his own mistakes which is no bad thing in a champion.

He was also a lightning fast racer, I particularly like his explanation of the build up to the famous either side overtake of Zonta on Schumi at Spa. " I gonna take a risk and go flat through Eau Rouge ~ I thought the car would explode with the pressure ~ I nearly flew coming out of Eau Rouge. :swoon:
The rest as they say is history. the overtake just before the braking point for Les Combes, sensational.  :yahoo:

Glad I watched that.  Newfound respect and I really find him quite likeable, something I didn't often in his F1 sound bites.   :good: :good:

I'd missed this one, and at last got a chance to watch it, thanks to you Dare. Really enjoyed it, Mika's a good talker, very engaging and affable.

Fair play to Sky for this series, hopefully they'll do something more to fill the gaps next year.

This gap to March is almost too much to bear already!

This is the guy who struck fear in Micheal Schumacher, because of all of his competitors, this guy just beat him with his pace. He didn't played those mind games, media frenzies, he just beat him with the pace. I always though his departure was pre-mature, but given the reason that he wanted to be with his boy, rather than racing I couldn't argue about it anyway. Sort of describes him how he was, fast and a very humble man. He used to say, "If you blind-fold me I will still be able to drive around Monaco, because hardly there is a difference."

Great Job SkyF1..
Keep running the fast cars, you will be never out of girls
