Guido Forti

Just thought it was worth mentioning the death of 1990's team owner Guido Forti, at the weekend aged 72

R.I.P to Guido Forti..

He might have not made a great outfit nor it made any remarkable heritage, still I am sure everybody will agree that we have lost a motorsports enthusiast. He will be missed for sure..

Here is his story of F1 adventure, and somehow I manage to find certain similarities with HRT, and to be frank HRT showed much more resilience and character than them.

Thanks for posting this, I wouldn't have known otherwise.

I was a Forti fan (my second favourite team after Minardi), so this is sad news for me.  Like most other small teams in the 1990s, they didn't have the funds to do a good job, but ultimately Guido was forced out of the sport by the Finfirst Group, and the financial deal which never was.
