New Honda Really Sucks
« on: March 30, 2013, 03:51:29 PM »
What sucks more than a minivan? How about a minivan with a built-in vacuum cleaner?

The new Honda Odyssey comes with its own vacuum cleaner. The HondaVAC is a hand-held vacuum integrated into the cargo area.

There are many things that I have always wanted in a car. A Hoover is not one of them. Maybe they just weren't clear on the concept behind the Brabham BT46B and the Chaparral 2J vacuum cars.

Really it's not that bad of a idea>Saves running a extension
cord. Now why someone would want a minivan is another question.

If you have a family, they are just so damn handy. They fit places a full size van won't, haul more munchkins than a pick up and are just generally useful to have. My sister was a true "Soccer Mom" though she hated the name, and hated the minivan that went with the job. But after the kids were gone and she went back to a sports sedan, she said " you know, sometimes I really miss the Dodge, it could just do so many things".

When you can only afford one vehicle a minivan makes perfect sense.
Also when you are older, like me, the higher seating position makes it so much easier to get out of the thing.  ;)
Getting into sports cars, sedans or otherwise is not the real problem - getting out of them is though.  :D :P

I had a minivan briefly for a company vehicle. I told them I'd quit if I didn't get another E-Series.

I loved our old VW Touran.  First van I ever drove that behaved like a car.  If they came in a AWD version, I would still have it.  But with the past two winters we've had here, FWD doesn't cut it up the hills.
The Honey Badger doesn't give a...
