Nice article by the eloquent Peter Windsor, 'Remembering Jim Clark and that amazing season 50 years ago.'

Good one, Vintly. Thanks!

It seems almost unthinkable that a top-flight F1 driver would also be driving sports cars in the same season. Driving in multiple series was the norm back them. Jimmy also drove saloon cars and Indy that same year.

Yeah good stuff Vintly, thanks.  :good:

On the point about running in different classes of motorsport, I see Loeb is making a damn good job of doing GT racing alongside a shortened WRC program. Trouble is most series now have a lot more races in a season than back in Jim's day.

Yeah, in 1963 there were only 10 races in the WDC/WCC.

I agree with John, Loeb is a top class driver, with tremendous achievement, though people say there were not enough talent to challenge him, and many manufacturers left the series, still he was immaculately precise with his driving and a pleasure to watch. I wish all the luck for Le Mans, would love to see him win the race..
