"Ugly" doesn't even come close to some of these monstrosities..

Interesting. The March was designed by Frank Costin, not Constin.

I wouldn't say its ugly, it was a desperate designers trying to be faster, and just shows how technologically correct F1 has become today. Comparing with those grand ideas, Ferrari's Platypus nose seems so subtle.

There have been some real monsters in F1's past. I've always thought that the Ferrari 312T-5 was one of the ugliest F1 cars ever. It's "tea tray" spoiler was even worse that the one March used.

BTW, I've always loved the Drag-ula, the car in the B&W pix with Herman Munster standing beside of it!

I refuse to admit any F1 car as ugly, because each of them is infused with the enthusiasm of people, who just want to be faster than others. If it is a F1 car, it is bound to be beautiful. Yeah it could be radical, it could be odd, but ugly NEVER  :nono:

How about "less aesthetically pleasing than the rest of the field" then?  :DD
