Looks like it could be a good movie, but they all feel the need to re-invent the Superman canon.  And every time I think of Superman, I think of Chris Reeve.

I wonder if Crowe managed to bag an equivalent to Brando's earnings for his 10min of screentime (Didn't Brando get something like 20% of the movie's budget for his cameo - I remember it was something outrageous).  And Brando seemed to still be struggling from detox after Apocalypse Now

Looks like it could be interesting. When I think of Superman, I think of George Reeves. Then Christopher Reeve's re-boot was outstanding, too. This new Superman will have some very large shoes (or should I say, red boots) to fill.

In any case, it couldn't be any worse than the new Star Trek movies.
