Well, I guess the time is right to post a retraction to my anti-Hamilton, anti-Mercedes rhetoric from the end of last season when he signed for Mercedes.
Ok, it was a good move.
Good for him, and congratulations to Mercedes for taking the front row today. I watched a bit of practice from yesterday and when Gary Anderson was talking about all the front wings, I have to say I really like the way Mercedes sculpted the front nose. From head on it looks nicest of all on the grid. I suppose Ross Brawn's position is in no danger as opposed to what was earlier speculated.
Over at Mclaren Sam Michael tried to put on a brave face, but I was interested to hear that Anderson thought they appeared to be working on the back end to solve a problem he is sure is created at the front. Why hasn't anyone poached Anderson to go back to work for a team? He still seems to have a better grasp of the tech than even some of the teams. I know his F1 ban is over.
