Oh John the modern society does not let us celebrate it all. In Hindu culture, it says celebrate 12 months with 13 festivals, we only celebrate 3 or 4.
In Muslim culture we have quite a few holidays, and so we only celebrate the important one ;)
In Buddhist culture we have another quite a few, and still only celebrate the important ones.
And we are so happy to celebrate the Christmas, Easter as well :)

So as you can see the reason to be secular, you get to have more & more holidays and fun.  :yahoo: :yahoo:
