To Irisado :

I do acknowledge all the concern of yours, because I had similar sort of notion (not as clear as yours though), therefore I asked Wizzo whether I should do it or not. And boy, he said somethings that made me feel like not only had a KERS effects, but also all the TURBO, ERS boost up put together.

The reason behind for such venture was that I treat these threads like an archive, so I felt like rather than keeping them as cold as dead, we might add up little discussion, the way things turned out, how reality becomes stranger than fiction and this sort of stuff. There is also a minute intention from me is that, being comparatively new in this forum, I feel like I have missed out many things, so in order to catch-up, I do leave a little trail of mine among those threads.

You may not share my views, but I am sure in line to being a true gentleman as you are, you will tolerate this naive childishness from me.

As I said, it's Wizzo's decision :).

Personally I find adding a reply to old posts a little strange, however in the great scheme of things it's not likely to spoil my day.

However I think it is reliant on members who add to old posts to hint if not make clear that they are resurrecting an old post, I for one am easily confused - especially after quaffing alcohol.  :-[   :D

In consideration to your advanced years John, if I respond to an old post I will not only leave a hint I will pm you as well so that you do not get too confused.  :P  :tease:  :tease:  :tease:  :tease:

I propose that we all poke John with a sharp stick every time someone replies to an old post.

You can always slightly change the subject line when digging up old posts to indicate (for the old or the drunk) it's an old post.  It only changes the subject line on the new post, not the entire thread.

So who do you like in this week's race? Vanwall or Maserati?
