Kobayashi to Caterham?
« on: December 20, 2013, 04:09:37 PM »
It looks like Kamui Kobayashi will be the #1 driver at Caterham for 2014. They have 6 million reason to take him over DiResta or Kovalainen.  ;)

Rrookie Marcus Ericsson will probably be in the team's other car

I'm happy to see Kamui back in the sport :)

I hope he takes his appreciative attitude to the team, and his daring spirit to the track.

He could be a pretty good choice for a smaller team.  He's got enough pace to take them forward, and a bit of cash will certainly help.  He's certainly a better prospect than either Pic or Van de Garde, although given how much the latter improved, I'd like to see him keep the second seat ahead of Ericsson.

And when things get tight, he can pull double duty rolling sushi in the hospitality tent :)

Maybe all the small teams should hire drivers with backup skills.  Alguesari can DJ.
