Car looks good in the picture.

Distinctive without being gaudy.  I like when they can get the advertising to mix in to the colour scheme.

Nice job of avoiding the anteater nose. It sort of follows the lead of the Williams from early 2003.

The nose is the least awful I've seen so far, although that's not saying much.  Lotus do have a good paint job though, which detracts from the new nose design more than on other cars.  The design looks pretty tidy too, so it looks promising initially, but there's a lot going on in the background which looks less rosy.

One of the "noses"  is longer than the other, is it just me?  :DntKnw:

The right hand beak does look a bit longer than the other one. Good eye, batman!  :good:

I like the split nose better too.

That's interesting...wonder why?  Will it really make any difference?  More room for Maldo to push the throttle? ;)

I'm thinking that having the asymmetrical nose will have an advantage on clockwise tracks, and they have a reverse nose for anti-clockwise tracks (is that legal?)

The reason for one part being longer than the other is a clever interpretation of the rules, you cant have a split nose - but crucially it would appear you can have an offset nose (the longest pointed bit) and another section looking very similar (next door to it) forming part of the crash structure.

Well no one said the nose had to be in the centre of the front, like the mandatory area for the exhaust at centre of the back, now did they.  :swoon:  - Clever Lotus eh? ;)   Mind you it will only really be clever if it makes the car go better.   :D

I saw (on Twitter) a funny picture of the McLaren pointy nose 'mating' with the Lotus split nose. Now there's a safety issue they haven't thought of hehehehe.
