I don't know if this is just a cleverly edited story with quotes pulled together from out of context questions during various interviews or questions thrown at him as he walked by, because I haven't seen this anywhere else, and am pretty sure it would be front page on some more noteworthy websites.

If anything, this is what gives the kernel of truth:

He said he is referring to today's era of "corporate governance", involving "different committees, ethics committees and god knows what else boards to report to".

Bernie's creation has taken on a life of its own, and he just might not be interested in something that is mostly concerned with things he doesn't care about.
