The Guy's got talent!!
« on: March 21, 2014, 04:58:48 PM »
Late night TV.  I was a big Carson fan, then became a Letterman fan when he got his own show, and I was hooked, for some years I hardly missed a show.  Leno came along and put me to sleep.  Then Conan's short lived stint was rightly so - he needed to be cancelled (though not to be replaced again by Leno).  Then along came Jimmy Fallon.  I started watching his first show when he moved the Tonight Show back to New York and haven't bothered with Letterman since, in fact I've deleted the Letterman shows since probably the third Fallon version of Tonight.

I am hooked.  Finally, a talk show host with talent, not just another talking head, but a guy who can sing and dance with the best of his guests.

Here is a clip of him with Billy Joel doing a great rendition of The Lion Sleeps Tonight...I think Joel was pretty impressed as well.  Another show to look up is Paul Rudd and Fallon having a lip sync contest.  See below.  Hilarious.

Finally...rapping with Timeberlake.

Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."
