Williams profits up...thanks to Maldo
« on: May 02, 2014, 03:01:45 PM »
Too funny, Williams posts a £22m profit in 2013, £15m of which came thanks to Maldo's termination deal and the penalty PDVSA had to pay to have him move to Lotus (betcha the PDVSA bosses are thrilled at the exposure they're getting with the Lotus car way in the back this year and the Williams out front).

If I was among the people from PDVSA, I would have immediately severed all ties with Maldonado, because this nut-case is making PDVSA look ridiculous. As Williams keep improving and Lotus tries to find ground, the reckless, mindless Maldonado keep making this sort of accidents, which should prompt the people from Venezuela stop him for their own sake

PDVSA should at least be sure that their logo is on a part of the car that will survive the crash. That way, they will be assured TV exposure in every race.

PDVSA may well back another driver if there were another Venezuelan prospect.  Is there anyone in the lower formulae that any of you know of?
