Brabham movie to video
« on: March 02, 2007, 10:30:25 PM »
"The Green Helmet" is an auto racing film made in 1961. The film was made in the UK and starred Bill Travers, Ed Begley and Jack Brabham. Brabham plays himself. The film features the 12 Hours of Sebring and the Mille Miglia. There are no video or DVD availible. It is seldom shown on TV.

Turner Classic Movie's website has a feature where fans can vote to have movies put out on DVD.

Right now, Green Helmet is 325th. If enough interest is shown, it might be released. After all, fan interest was what convinced Warner Bros. to put out the fantastic Grand Prix DVD set.

Thanks, dare! I'll look into that.

I'd still like to see it out on a nice, remastered DVD, though.
