Not sure, but if I was about to lose my 4-time world champion, I wouldn't be quite so 'oh well' about it.  I would say we tried to convince him to stay, we negotiated, but couldn't agree...something that said they actually cared about keeping him.  But apparently they don't.

To be fair, they now have Ricciardo and Kvyat looks like a good replacement to go with the RBR, and they already have the young guy ready for Kvyat's seat at STR, so no sweating at RBR.  I just would have thought RBR would look a little more shock shelled by the announcement.

I guess it could say something about what they thought of the Vettel/RBR package over his championship years...that the RBR part of it was more valuable.
