Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."

The previous lap was so fast I cannot see that Hamilton was feeling any pressure. The problem came about when the team told him to do a second fast lap. The tyres cried enough!
He still came out of the pits and reduced a 7.5second deficit down to just half a second. There are plenty of drivers that wish that could drive that well under pressure!
I want Button to win in Abu Dabhi (and there goes another flying pig). Apart from the 'British' angle I'm not too worried about who wins between Rosberg and Hamilton. Having said that, I think Hamilton deserves the win more than Rosberg because Hamilton has been incredibly unlucky this year and Rosberg lost my support by cheating at Monaco and his whinging later in the year.

I think that Hamilton's spin was due to pushing too hard.  That's the defition of succumbing to pressure.  I think that Hamilton easily made up the gap was very telling.

I too see him as the 'hero' of the Mercedes duel, but I've been a fan of Hamilton's story since he first broke into F1.  Of all the current drivers, he's had by far the most interesting array of teammates in terms of dramatic stories.
