Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."

I think he did made similar statement when he was loosing in the McLaren. At times he may be a whinner, but ever since 2012, he has been absolutely mesmerising to watch, whether in McLaren or in Mercedes. I like the person who drives the cars by the name Lewis Hamilton, but when he gets out he is an attention grabbing teenager who want to get everything through annoyance and whinning.

That's all we get to see in Canada

No wonder I like him more than you guys do

I have really warmed to Hamilton during 2014. He still wears his heart on his sleeve and sometimes interviews are awkward but I actually think he is the best 'racer' on the track and his comments seem to be much less contrived. He polled a third of the votes in the UK Sports Personality of the Year awards so he has obviously got a tremendous fan base.

I went right off of Hamilton during his debut season after some less than flattering comments he made but without doubt he is a brilliant racer and he has matured greatly  He does seem to have mellowed out a bit and I think does seem to enjoy a challenge (afterall, he made the move to Mercedes which at the time was considered a bit of a risk).
