Merry Christmas Everybody
« on: December 24, 2014, 10:24:50 AM »
This year has been an exceptionally busy year and as it comes to a close I take the time to pause and reflect upon the events of 2014.

There is no hiding that all forums including GPWizard have been affected by social media sites offering fast 'punch line news' rather than friendship building in-depth discussions. Pleasingly, we have retained our core members and we are still highly respected as a reliable and well informed news source for Formula 1. GPWizard will continue as a F1 Forum but there will be some changes to the site in 2015 before the start of the new season. Don't panic! This will mainly consist of a new streamlined look to the forum with the trimming down of any excess topics that we have.

I will be heavily advertising the site together with the Grid Game for 2015 to see if we can attract some like minded souls. This is a bit of a gamble but my feelings are the more exposure for the site the better. Never fear the forum will be run with a firm but fair hand and I will not have any new members upsetting the ambulance abeyonce ambience  ;) of the site, as this is what we have all grown to know and love.

With some new changes, a new F1 season and the new Grid Game to look forward to, 2015 is already shaping up to being a fantastic year. For now I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the members and visitors that keep GPWizard alive and kicking. I couldn't do it without you.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I hope 2015 is a wonderful New Year for us all.

A Merry Christmas & a Happy New Season (and Year) from here in Appalachia to all of the GPW members around the world. The friendships I've made here are a truly great treasure.

Thank you, Wizzo, for giving us all this marvelous place!

I too wish the Merriest of Christmases to all of you and tidings of comfort and joy.

I also offer this song, as it is the reason for the season as they say.

Life is short - live each day to the fullest.

'Bingle Jells' to the lot of you.  :D

Hope the holiday season brings you all that you want, and the new F1 season does the same.  ;)
