An emphatic no, Dare.  ::)  It's a motorbike with a rain bonnet for heaven's sake.  :D

I've heard that the trend is retro in all things motoring but reviving the 1950 Fend Flitzer 101, see pics below, is IMHO plain daft.

Looks interesting. I'd have to see more specs than they currently list. I'd also have to see if someone 6"6' would fit in it.

Cos one thing I read and don't like at all is Pep Boys
will do the servicing :o not my favorite place

John I think it would be a good thing for putting around
town...I have a Ford 150 that likes nothing better than
guzzling gas.Also has a heater,radio,and built around a cage.
I may consider one :tease:

If you gotta go small 2 seat city car Dare you should think Smart.  A 1 litre Merc engine and city fuel consumption of 57mpg rising to 76mpg on longer runs. You can even get it as a cabriolet.
Why have a covered bike when you can have half a car?  :D

I agree with you about Pep Boys, Dare. Manny, Moe & Jerk aren't my favorite 3 guys, either.

Smart cars are as common as dirt around here. They have a huge yawn factor. One of the things I like about the Elio is that it's a trike. I would guess that it's nowhere near as fast as my VW trike, but it certainly has better foul weather gear.

Not exactly mind boggling Cos but  top speed over 100 mph

There's plenty of half cars here but some times you just want
to be different...and the Elio is way different

I don't mind it.  I would want to test drive it though.  Something that small can be a lot of fun, as long as the torque and cornering is there.
