Pneumatically operated valve system
« on: February 10, 2015, 01:53:12 PM »
I have a question that I am fairly certain some of will know the answer to.

I remember back in the '90s when the pneumatically operated valves replaced springs because of the higher revs and springs not closing valves quickly enough.  From those days, I also recall that the onboard cylinders were charged before start up to a pressure of around 2,000 psi (it was in bar, but that number is stuck in my head).  I do not remember the volume of the cylinders.

So the question, in two parts I guess, is what is the volume and pressure of the nitrogen these days?
