Very cool :good:

China is not at the top of the list of races I want to attend, but any race in person beats any race on tv.  I wish I could afford going to each of them.  Maybe I will get to most before I die.

For now, I'll settle for Canada and US GPs.  I have been to Hungary and hope to get to another European race next season.

Good for you!

To GPWizard, it's great news - thank you for sharing and have a great time  :yahoo:

(I cannot go to the Chinese Grand Prix until China changes its visa requirements, but I can still appreciate the great experience Andy will have in going)

In my **years of F1 spectating I have seen GPs at Silverstone (several), Spa (once) and Monaco (once but from such a distance I could hardly see the cars!). Shanghai would not be top of my list but I will be in China on business for 3 weeks and have managed to adapt my schedule to make sure I'm in Shanghai for the GP weekend.
I would love to go to Canada but the cost of any GP is high enough before having to add the cost of long distance travel.
I will make sure I provide a full gloating report!

Monty my GP experiences are similar to yours although I have not been to Monaco, I could never justify the cost, but have been to Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Spa, Paul Riccard, Singapore and Melbourne. I'm fortunate that my wife is happy to go to a country that holds a GP and while I attend the race she tours the city and shops. Now I'm living in the Southern Hemisphere I am try to take advantage of that, Canada came about as we have intended to visit the country for many years and a significant anniversary gave the opportunity to do so.  :good:
