Nissan GTR driver fails at driving in a straight line

(1/1)

John S:
Driving a straight line isn’t too difficult, surely?  :D

Throw in roughly 560 horsepower and things do admittedly get a little trickier. But when it’s a Nissan GTR that’s providing that power, it gets a little easier again. Why? Because Nissan have loaded it full of electronics which make it surprisingly easy to drive, fast.

This incident happened at Edinburg Raceway in Texas. Whilst embarrassing for the driver, things could certainly have been a lot worse. It appears that Edinburg Raceway has very poorly constructed walls. In fact, my garden fence (which isn’t in the best shape) looks sturdier than this wall. Thankfully, a wall made of what appears to be thin metal sheeting limited the damage to this guy’s GTR. A proper concrete wall would probably have caused a lot, lot more damage. Look for the positives, right?!

Maybe he just got lost.

The track is lined with Armco highway barrier. It's used on most small tracks over here. (Most highways, too)
