Not sure if they were shamed into it, or what, but apparently the CEO is onboard with the plan to develop the engine.  No mention in the article about the possibility of them buying a team for next year, but they have other pans on their stove at the moment, so they need to concentrate on this year, at least for now.

Interestingly Marko said that a Newey designed car will be on hand in Spain (suggesting he didn't have as much input into the current one?).  Maybe they told him they would take away his America's Cup project if he didn't hurry back and fix the F1 program.
