Dennis defends Mclaren
« on: May 01, 2015, 09:00:18 PM »
He has some good points, and only fools would think that Mclaren/Honda would be a force only a few races into their first season together.  He made some good points about Alonso as well, and I hope it's more truth than spin.  Most interesting bit was at the end where he claims Alonso has a 3 year contract with no options.  I hope so.

Quite frankly, McLaren Honda has been progressing faster than I thought.  They had a rough time in testing which set them back, but they're improving with every weekend.

McLaren have improved faster than I thought that they would, and I was impressed that Alonso got into Q2, and was fighting for the last point in the race for a while at least.  I think that some of the criticism has, therefore, been a bit unfair.
