I know F1 is all about the advancement of technology but it also used to be about the best drivers. It's not about the best driver now. A good driver in a poor team could get totally overlooked.
The sport keeps pushing technology and driver aids. How long before the drivers are sitting in a comfortable room controlling the cars. I would love to see it all stripped away and have pit boards only. I suppose that's why I like Goodwood Revival so much.

While I agree with you:  pit boards only... I'm not opposed to technological arms race where the drivers are on their sofas with XBox controllers.

It's not like I can SEE the drivers out there anyway.
