Honda not ready to supply a second team

Manor wants Hondas?  Geez, they should just be happy they are finishing races at the moment.  Why try to go further back?

I'd say Honda isn't ready to supply any team yet.

As for Manor, they may not have a choice. They're getting cut rate, B-spec Ferraris this year. I think it was only a one year deal. With Haas coming into the picture next season, Ferrari may not be interested in supplying Manor.

The Manor cars were running clearer rougher than the other Ferrari teams.  Still better than the Hondas, but I think that with a decent engine Manor could be a midpack team.

I would think Honda would do well to have more engines on track.  Between four drivers they might be able to collect at least 40 laps worth of data on race day.

Exactly my thoughts, they are really struggling, and given the reliability of the engines last year, Honda made really big mistakes for sure. Manor may have no other choice, but I would like them to stick with Ferrari engines, with this they have more chance of survival as team than having a Honda engine and going extinct.

Not necessarily.  F1 teams make their money by showing up on TV.  Finishing 3 laps down, out of the points, doesn't get you on TV.  Pulling off to the side after 10 laps does.
