New stories suggest the deal is fading...typical Bernie.

Reminds me of the toilet at our local drag strip. They're in a trailer, 3 stalls and a 10 foot trough on our end. Went to use it once and made it 2 steps inside the door before nearly losing my lunch from the smell alone. Walked to the other end of the paddock to use a Port-a-John. It was bad, but tolerable.

It looks like Bernie still wants to dump Monza, probably to make room for yet another dictator derby on yet another Tilke snooze factory.

Bernie says we're unlikely to keep Monza without giving clues as to the replacement track.

Pencil it in for 2016.

It's his MO isn't it?  Threaten to take a race off the schedule in the weeks leading up to the last race of the current deal.  Then show up at the venue, have everyone in a panic running around getting signatures and leave the racetrack with a new, much fatter contract.  That's Bernie.

It's about time for Bernie to get a Memo from Modena.

What's Italian for STFU?

Reminds me of the toilet at our local drag strip.

You are just boasting....'local drag strip' pah!
We only really have one drag strip; Santa Pod and it isn't local to anywhere!
I can leave home in beautiful sunshine and find it is pouring with rain when I get there.
Regarding toilets - at least Santa Pod has invested in much better toilet and shower facilities. They are still fairly bad but such an improvement on what used to be there. Back in the days when I used to race in Super Comp and Street Eliminator, Mrs Monty would not go to the toilet the whole day. Mind you she could outrun the car at the first motorway services!

There are a lot of words/phrases that are Italian for STFU. None of them are printable...

Southwestern International Raceway is about 30 minutes across town; a fully accredited IHRA strip. For more serious racing, Firebird Raceway (They changed the name recently, but I never can remember the new one) is about 90 minutes away in Phoenix and hosts a full on NHRA national event every February. Their facilities are first rate.
