Hamilton Acknowledges Dyslexia
« on: December 23, 2015, 12:35:23 PM »
Lewis Hamilton has acknowledged that he is dyslexic.

"As a dyslexic, I struggled [in school]. I also missed a lot of lessons on Fridays because I was racing on the weekends. School was not a lot of fun for me."

The 3 time WDC says that he wants to work with children when he retires from driving.

I hope he follows it through, certainly something positive to do after racing.

Seems to me that he is already working with children, particularly little Bernie.  ;)

Add 'Little Jack' Horner, 'Little Boy Blue' Mateschitz and 'Panto Dame' Lauda to the list, the way they've been acting this year.

A little anecdote for you.  The place where I worked during the previous decade was a language centre where Lewis Hamilton used to go to attend Italian classes.  I never met him there (it was before my time), but one of my colleagues used to teach him, and she said he was pretty good at Italian.  Could come in handy one day if he ever gets to drive for Ferrari.
