BBC Announces New Top Gear Cast

The BBC has announced the cast of the new Top Gear.  Rory Reid, Sabine Schmitz, Matt LeBlanc, Chris Evans, Chris Harris, Eddie Jordan and, of course, The Stig.

That lineup will certainly take the pressure off what was looking like a one man show with car-sick and can't-drive-and-talk-at-the-same-time Evans.  Thank God.  I just pray it won't be the Evans show with his sidekicks.  There are more than a couple personalities there who could easily outshine him.

Looks like someone in the BBC diversity department has had the final say:- Black, White, Ginger, a Woman, an Old Guy, an American - for the US market, and the BBC asset the Stig.

All the bases covered then. All that's left is to guess who's gay.  - just saying.

Sabine Schmitz could well be the best driver of the bunch.  Have a peek at this run around Nurburgring in a Porsche 911 GT3...it's mesmerizing.  I didn't think I would watch the whole thing, but couldn't tear my eyes away.

Very impressive run up through the GT3 field. This came up after and in its own way is even more impressive; and it shows her on Top Gear. Truly a remarkable woman. Think I've got a crush already.
