That was quite a good race until the last few laps when it became a really exciting race.
Rosberg only has to look in the mirror if he wants to know who was at fault. He also needs to realise that what happened at turn two would have been avoided if he had not made a mistake at turn one, which allowed Hamilton to be in a position to execute a pass at turn two. This is not the first time he has made a mistake under pressure from Hamilton while leading either. The US Grand Prix last year springs immediately to mind.
As for turn two, that was Rosberg's fault. He didn't turn in. He could have turned in and tried to push Hamilton wide, but instead of that he just went straight on. I'm very surprised that he was not penalised more heavily for that. Hamilton was the deserving winner of this race.
Elsewhere, Vettel's complaints do not resonate with me. He knew that they were taking a gamble by going that far on the ultrasoft tyres. Remember, they had already been put through a number of lasts during Q2, so combining that with the race distance he had covered up until the point of the explosion, those tyres were right on the limit.
A fantastic performance by Wehrlein to earn Manor a valuable point was my highlight of the race. Manor have a much better car and engine this year, and they deserve to pick up a few points here and there, based on their pace.
